When we had some new idea and want to make it as a products without 3D printer
1.For plastic we need the plastic mold and injection machine to make it
2.Metal part :either for stamping ,casting ,we need the casting mold or the pressing mold
3.CNC was not a bad choice but the cost for it was very expensive ,to set up the progarm and fixture
We didnot need to consider those things when we used 3D printer either use SLA SLM or SLS,just smash us the idea you want ,sent us the drawing ,the part you want to make improved,we will handle the rest of things,what you need just spare us some time ,then you will get the part in your mind .

Application for 3D printing service -Engine block
The application for the 3D printing service can be :engine block ,oil pan ,oil pump ,oil pickup tube ,Cylinder head ,valve cover,piston ,connect rod ,cylinder head ,transmission oil pan ,all the part for automotive parts and service
Import all the part piston ,oil pan ,connect rod ,gear ,engine block inside the slice APP
When we want to reverse engineering engine block ,as you can see the mold cost was very expensive ,so before kick off the engine block it was much more better if we can 3D Print a engine block by SLM ,so that can give out the best tolerance as we want and see where do we want to improve
Engine oil pan - 3D printing SLM
1.When you want to increase the capacity of the oil inside the oil pan or oil sump ,we cant check very carefully on the drawing ,even when you assemble all the part inside the engine where the engine install on the car ,you cant see where was the interfere.
2.The bolt holes to fitment inspection during the reverse engineering
3.All the R angle as you set for the oil pan ,oil sump
4.Even the fitment between engine block and oil pan
5.All the tolerance for 3D print can control within 0.05mm
6.All the oil pan blot fit the engine block install surface
FDM Engine block
FDM can support the service of the engine block ,Raw material can be PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon
If you thought the resin cant support of the strong of the engine block ,then we can use the ABS ,all the plastic material to make it
The most different between SLA and FDM was the layer thickness ,FDM 3D print was melt the plastic raw material and layer one by one
The nozzle of FDM 3D printing service can use the most thin :0.5mm compare to the SLA 3D printing service each layer can be 0.01mm so ,FMD may look more rough without bright.if we care about the surface of the 3D printing part ,I suggest we use FDM.
